Effective immediately, the Gerrish Township Compost is now open by FOB only with the new digital system, controller and digital reader and will remain open for the season. If you have a FOB from before, it should work accordingly. If you did not have a FOB, either business or residential, you will need to stop at the Township Hall to purchase your FOB accordingly. Gerrish Township will be making formal measurements of what the ice storm drop off were to ascertain the costs for managing and removal of goods separate from our normal operation.
