Notice of Public Hearing on the 2017-2018 Township Budget
Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.
Gerrish Township Municipal Center
Notice is hereby given that the Gerrish Township Board will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Township budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 at 6:30pm., Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Township Municipal Center, located at 2997 E. Higgins Lake Dr.
In accordance with the law, proposed expenditures and estimated revenues will be submitted for consideration for the General Fund, Sanitation Fund, Cemetery Fund, Bond Payment, Parks and Recreation and Community Park for the fiscal year 2017-2018. Copies of the budget are available in Township Clerk’s office and online at www.gerrishtownship.org.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budgets will be a subject of this hearing.
This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72 (2) (3) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Gerrish Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon 15 days notice to the Gerrish Township Board. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Gerrish Township Clerk.
Proposed minutes of the meeting shall be available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk not more than eight business days after the meeting.
